Careeerworks Company History:
Careerworks was first formed in 1997 with Odie Johnson, Heather Carpenter and Carol Fatialofa as its Directors. With Careers training and backgrounds as well as tertiary experience, the aim was to work in a private practice that allowed flexibility of hours and workloads.
With Heather moving to the Hawkes Bay in 2000, changes were made to the company structure – Lynette joining Careerworks and Heather becoming Careerworks Hawkes Bay . Later, Bernadette Pone came on board with Carol and a natural progression into two companies occurred – Lynette and Odie becoming Careerworks Mahi Pai; Bernadette and Carol becoming Careerworks Pasifika.
